(Senior) Talent Acquisition Manager | Climate Tech (all genders)

As Talent Acquisition Manager at carbmee, you are the strategic force behind our most critical competitive advantage: our people. This is a high-ownership, full-cycle role built for exceptional operators who understand that in a fast-scaling climate-tech company, the caliber of every hire shapes the trajectory of our mission.You will own the end-to-end recruiting engine - from architecting sourcing strategies and building diverse talent pipelines to partnering directly with founders and senior leadership on the roles that define our next chapter.

Sitting within our Operations team, you are simultaneously a trusted advisor to hiring managers, a steward of candidate experience, and the face of carbmee's employer brand to the world's best talent. We are looking for someone who brings both rigor and creativity - who can build scalable processes without losing the human touch, and who is as comfortable analyzing funnel metrics as they are running a compelling final-round interview. • Full-Cycle Ownership: Lead and manage end-to-end recruiting across the full hiring lifecycle - from initial screening through to offer stage - for both business and technical roles across all seniority levels.

• Strategic Talent Sourcing: Build and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to attract world-class candidates. Develop diverse, high-quality talent pipelines that go beyond reactive hiring and anticipate the team's future needs.

• Hiring Manager Partnership: Act as a trusted strategic advisor to hiring managers and internal stakeholders - consulting on market intelligence, role scoping, and talent acquisition strategy in alignment with carbmee's business objectives.

• Candidate Experience & DE&I: Ensure every candidate interaction reflects carbmee's values. Champion structured, bias-aware hiring decisions and foster an inclusive process that broadens our access to exceptional and diverse talent.

• Data-Driven Recruiting: Monitor, analyze, and act on recruitment metrics and KPIs. Use data to track funnel efficiency, identify bottlenecks, and make evidence-based decisions that continuously improve hiring outcomes.

• Interview Excellence: Deliver interview training and share recruiting best practices across the organization. Partner with hiring managers to raise the bar on interview quality and decision-making rigor at every stage.

• Employer Branding: Own and evolve carbmee's employer brand strategy in collaboration with the Marketing team - ensuring we attract, convert, and retain the exceptional talent required to achieve our mission at scale.

• Team & Culture Building: Collaborate closely with the Operations & Strategy team on employee experience and engagement initiatives - contributing to a company culture that retains top talent as we grow.

• Extensive experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a closely related role - ideally within the tech startup or scale-up environment, with direct exposure to fast-changing organizational structures.

• A solid track record of placements across all levels -  from individual contributors to senior management - and across diverse functions, including business, operations, and engineering roles.

• Deep knowledge of sourcing techniques, talent pipeline management, and best practices in talent acquisition. You have a creative toolkit for building diverse candidate pools and reaching passive talent.

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software. Experience with Personio is a strong advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams and seniority levels. You know how to challenge, advise, and align stakeholders on hiring decisions.

• You are data-driven and translate recruiting funnel metrics into actionable decisions. Measuring what matters and iterating based on evidence is core to how you operate.

• You are fluent in German and English.
